At the "Inspire Fest: Our Steps into the Future" festival, held on May 3rd at the Astana Hub, a unique project by American artist Oxana Akopov and young talents from Kazakhstan was showcased. This project represents the magic of combining art with cutting-edge technology. Students from the Bala Time art studio in Astana and Schoolhouse №1 in Almaty were inspired to create drawings that come to life through the innovative use of artificial intelligence. The images, animated by technology, are complemented by the unique sounds of Kazakh kui played by the renowned musician Samet Bisengaliev. A recording from 1968, preserved in the archives of the "Melodiya" studio, adds a special value to each artwork. The festival was organized by American Corner & Makerspace Astana in collaboration with the Inspire Fest team and art curator Elmira Kandykbaeva, with support from the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan and Chevron Kazakhstan, successfully creating a platform for cultural exchange and innovation.
